Zumba Group Coordinator
Coordinate welcoming monthly wellbeing sessions for parent carers at United Reformed Church in Bromley.
ROLE OVERVIEW
Keep the Parent Carer Zumba Wellbeing Group running smoothly.
OAKonsult is recruiting a friendly, organised coordinator to welcome participants, manage session administration and support engagement with this funded wellbeing programme. This is a paid role.

Role details
- Employment: Paid part-time role
- Pay: £12.71 per hour
- Hours: 5 hours per month
- Location: United Reformed Church, Bromley, with some administration completed remotely
SESSION TIMES
Monthly schedule
- Every third Monday of the month, 11:30am–1:00pm.
- Every third Thursday of the month, 7:15pm–8:45pm.
The group offers parent carers a welcoming, non-judgemental place to move, connect and support their wellbeing.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
Welcome participants and coordinate the details.
SESSION COORDINATION
Create a warm, reliable experience
- Welcome participants and help create an inclusive atmosphere.
- Manage registration, attendance records and new participant sign-ups.
- Send reminders and follow-up communications.
- Maintain accurate participant records and contact details.
- Encourage ongoing participation and engagement.
FEEDBACK & COMMUNICATIONS
Support learning and outreach
- Gather participant feedback and wellbeing surveys.
- Take photos and videos only with appropriate consent for reporting and promotion.
- Provide the media team with accurate information for existing networks and social channels.
- Work with the CEO and wider team on the group’s ongoing development.

- Basic email, spreadsheet and online-system skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Reliability and willingness to work as part of a team.
DESIRABLE
Experience you can build on
- Administration, coordination or customer-facing work.
- Surveys, forms or attendance records.
- Wellbeing, community engagement or supporting families.
- Lived experience as a parent carer is welcomed but not required.
