Accountability commitments
Safe, inclusive and responsible support.
Our parent carer work is delivered with trustee oversight, safeguarding awareness, privacy commitments and equality principles.
Trustee oversight
Trustees and leadership are responsible for strategy, oversight, safeguarding culture and responsible use of charitable resources.
Safeguarding commitment
We aim to create safe spaces for parent carers, children, young people, volunteers and staff, with appropriate escalation routes for concerns.
Privacy and GDPR
We collect only the information needed to support contact, referrals, delivery and reporting, and we handle personal information with care.
Equality and inclusion
Our UK parent carer support is open to eligible carers of all faiths and none, with respect for disability, culture, language, family context and access needs.
Complaints and feedback
We value feedback and aim to respond to concerns fairly, respectfully and in a way that helps improve services.
Health, safety and risk
We consider practical risks around venues, activities, lone working, data, referrals and participant wellbeing as part of responsible delivery.
