Support Worker / Carer
Provide compassionate day-to-day support for children and young people with disabilities at OAKonsult’s developing Day Centre in Ogbomoso.

OAKonsult Disabilities Outreach is establishing a pioneering Day Centre to support children and young people with disabilities and their families. The Support Worker / Carer will provide compassionate day-to-day support, promoting dignity, inclusion and wellbeing.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide safe, respectful and person-centred support.
Daily care and development
- Support daily care and supervision.
- Assist with therapy and developmental activities.
- Promote independence and inclusion.
Records, partnership and safeguarding
- Maintain care records.
- Work closely with therapists and families.
- Comply with safeguarding standards.
REQUIREMENTS
What we are looking for.
- OND, HND or Bachelor’s degree in Health, Social Care, Education or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Passion for supporting children and young people with disabilities.
- Good interpersonal skills and teamwork.
- Willingness to undertake mandatory training.
