In October 2025 our volunteers spent time with families of children with disabilities in Ogbomoso. With support from Flour Mills Nigeria, we shared food and essential supplies with more than 200 families.
Every family we met deserves to be seen and valued. For many of them, the visit mattered as much as the supplies.
A group for parent carers
In April 2025 we met a parent carers group in Ogbomoso, started by a member of the physiotherapy unit at Bowen University. It offers encouragement from the Word of God alongside practical advice on caring for children with disabilities.
Through the group we support 20 families with group discussions, cash gifts and food. Parent carers often feel alone, and the group reminds them that they are not.

Schools and the Blind Centre
We also visited Community Basic School, Arada, where staff care every day for children with learning needs, and the Ogbomoso Blind Centre, where we met students and staff.
Help us reach more families. Give to our work or find other ways to get involved.
