On 25 September 2026, The Bridge opened in Ogbomoso, Nigeria. For OAKonsult Disabilities Outreach, that opening is the beginning of a continuing commitment to children and young people with disabilities and the families who care for them.
A place matters because of what happens within it: people who listen, practical support, appropriate resources and an environment where families are treated with dignity. Keeping those foundations in place takes continuing support.
This November, we are asking our community to help raise US$5,000 for OAKonsult’s Nigeria work, including The Bridge.
OAKonsult has been selected for the New Africa Fund’s Africa Fundraising Incubator. During the November challenge, eligible gifts through our assigned NAF page can attract matching funds under the challenge rules, up to US$5,000. It is an opportunity to strengthen the appeal, not a guaranteed match on every donation.
