Questions about our UK support
Who can use OAKonsult’s UK support?
Parents and carers of children and young people aged 0–25 with disabilities or additional needs. Some programmes, such as Stronger Carers, Stronger Families, are for Bromley residents; each page says who it is for.
Do I have to be a Christian?
No. Our Christian faith shapes our ethos, but our support is not faith-restrictive. We welcome parent carers of all faiths and none, across cultures and backgrounds.
Does it cost anything?
Project ME Online is free for parent carers, and our Zumba sessions are funded so there is nothing to pay. For other programmes, the page or the team will tell you what to expect.
Is OAKonsult an emergency service?
No. We offer support, training and signposting. If someone is at immediate risk, contact the emergency services or the appropriate safeguarding route.
Where is the UK team based?
