Impact Storytelling & Evaluation Officer

Help OAKonsult turn participant feedback, programme information and lived experience into clear evidence of change.

ROLE OVERVIEW

Capture what participants experience and what programmes achieve.

OAKonsult is looking for a friendly, organised volunteer to collect feedback, identify useful themes and help communicate the difference its programmes make. You do not need to be an evaluation specialist; curiosity, care and clear organisation are more important.

ABOUT THE ROLE

Make evidence useful and understandable.

You will help organise feedback from parent carers, draw out key outcomes and turn information into concise summaries, statistics and consented stories of change.

Your work will support programme learning, reports, presentations and funding applications.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

Listen carefully, organise clearly and report responsibly.

FEEDBACK & EVIDENCE

Collect and organise

  • Help create straightforward surveys, feedback forms and participant check-ins.
  • Collect and organise feedback from parent carers taking part in programmes and activities.
  • Identify recurring themes, outcomes and success stories.
  • Turn feedback into clear impact summaries and statistics.

STORIES & REPORTING

Communicate change

  • Help develop consented case studies and stories of change.
  • Prepare information for reports, funding applications and presentations.
  • Work with the fundraising team so applications are supported by credible evidence of impact.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

A thoughtful listener with a clear way of working.

ESSENTIAL

Skills you will use

  • Basic email, Microsoft Office or Google Workspace skills.
  • Good written communication.
  • Ability to organise information clearly.
  • Reliability, sensitivity and willingness to learn.

HELPFUL, NOT REQUIRED

Experience you can build on

  • Surveys, feedback forms or simple data.
  • Research, evaluation or community development.
  • Volunteering or employment in a charity or community organisation.
